Scandinavian design - it’s all about HYGGE!
Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Adrianna I am studying Scandinavian Studies in Kielce, Poland and I would like to introduce you to my interests about Scandinavia. Scandinavian design - it’s all about HYGGE! Let’s shed some light on the term: HYGGE can be described (maybe we can only try to explain what it is because there’s no simple definition) as an artistry of creating an esthetic place where, you can feel freely, rest from the fast pace of our life. It’s all about creating small everyday rituals that can make our life a lot more enjoyable. We also have to remember it is a lot more than a nice space that you can spend your time in. It is also an attitude of the people that gather to enjoy being together. That is what we Europeans have to learn from the Danish, and whole Scandinavia in the purpose of not losing our mind! photo credit ...
